Hi guys, I was going to make Tabouli today and I thought I’ll video tape it and share it with u all. This tabouli is so good is vegetarian, it’s vegan, it’s full of flavour and it’s good for you, with lots of nutrients.
4 bunches of Parsley ( any kind you like)
3 Bunches of Green onions
4 Large Tomatoes
1 Banana pepper seeded (optional)
1/2 Cup Bulgur Wheat (cracked wheat)
1/2 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tsp. Dried Mint
Juice of 2 Lemons
Salt to taste
Wash all your vegetables. Before you start chopping, take the bulgur wheat and soak it with the lemon juice and set it aside, Chop your parsley if you have food processor, I like using it, saves me a lot of time, but you can do it by hand, just make sure its finally chopped. Chop your green onions and the tomatoes to small pieces. If using banana pepper or any hot pepper of your choice, take the seeds out and finely chop it as well. Now let’s put this thing together. In a large bowl combine your tomatoes, parsley, green onions, soaked bulgur wheat, dried mint, olive oil, and salt. Mix everything together and there you have it. Yummy in the Tummy ?
