I got this recipe from the Taste of Home website. We tried it tonight and enjoyed it very much. It’s not real “heart healthy,” but, what the heck, it doesn’t hurt to throw caution to the wind once in awhile! LOL! The picture is mine.
Ingredients:
- 2 c
bow tie pasta, uncooked
- 2 c
chicken, cooked & cubed
- 1 – 14 oz. can(s)
artichoke hearts, water packed, drained, rinsed & chopped
- 1 – 11 oz. can(s)
cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1 c
shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 c
mayonnaise
- 1/3 c
milk, 2%
- 1
garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp
onion powder
- 1/2 tsp
pepper
- 1 c
onion and garlic salad croutons, coarsely crushed
Instructions:
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken, artichokes, soup, cheese, mayonnaise, milk, garlic, onion powder and pepper.
- Drain pasta; add to chicken mixture.
