In this short video, I will show you how to make a healthy vegan salad with no oil. And its so delicious! A salad you can eat as a lunch or dinner option.
Step 1: Kale, spinach, romaine lettuce or add any type of green you enjoy – 1 cup of leaf lettuce
Step 2: Add a legume or a type of bean – 1 cup of black beans (BPA free can – no added salt)
Step 3: 3-4 vegetables of your choice (Add ½ cup of each) – radishes, tomatoes, green onions, spinach
Step 4: Garnish the salad with a few healthy fats – ½ avocado or ¼ cup seeds or nuts
Step 5: Spices – ½ tsp cumin, ¼ pepper, ¼ sea salt
Step 6: Add fresh lemon juice!
This salad meal is for 1 person (serving). Try it out and see how it makes you feel!
Remember 1 tablespoon of oil equals 120 calories! So, try this salad instead, especially if you trying to lose weight.
