This Easy Sugar Free Ranch Salad Dressing is the best, quick recipe out there! The ingredients include mayo, cream, garlic, and a few herbs and spices. Use this for salads, wings, or as a dip!

It can be really frustrating to search for a ranch dressing that is low-sugar. So why not make your own?
Everyone loves a nice ranch dressing. It’s a popular creamy salad dressing and dip that originated in the United States. It’s often used as a topping for salads, as a dip for vegetables, chips, and wings, and as a sauce for burgers, sandwiches, and wraps. It has a tangy, slightly sweet, and savory flavor that is often described as cool and refreshing.

Why Make Your Own Dressing
- You can control the ingredients, it’s customizable: When you make your own ranch dressing, you can control the quality and quantity of the ingredients you use. This means you can choose to use fresh herbs and spices, high-quality oils, and healthier ingredients like Greek yogurt. You can also adjust the seasoning to your liking and avoid using any preservatives or additives.
- It is healthier: Store-bought ranch dressing is often high in unhealthy fats, sugar, and sodium.
- It is cheaper: Homemade is much cheaper to make than store-bought. You can save money by buying the ingredients in bulk (hello Costco!).
- It is fresher: Store-bought ranch dressing can sit on the shelf for months, while homemade is made fresh and used within a few days.

Key Ingredients
- Sour Cream or Plain Greek Yogurt
- Mayo
- Heavy Whipping Cream
- Chives
- Dill
- Fresh Lemon Juice
- Garlic Powder
- Salt and Pepper

How to Store It/How Long It Will Last
The dressing should always be refrigerated to prevent bacterial growth and spoilage. Store it in an airtight container or jar and keep it in the refrigerator for up to one week. Shake or stir before use. Over time, the ingredients in ranch dressing may separate, so be sure to shake or stir the dressing well before using it to ensure a consistent texture and flavor.

Freezer Tips
You can freeze it in an airtight container for up to three months. However, keep in mind that the texture may change slightly after thawing, so it’s best to use frozen ranch dressing for cooking or as a dip rather than as a salad dressing.

Recipe Tips
Play around with the ingredients some. I found this to be the perfect combination for me, but you may want something a little different. Try adding ½ of the suggested serving for each of the spices. Taste the dressing and adjust from there. This is what I do when I experiment and compile a recipe. You can always add more, but it’s much more difficult to unwind what is already done.

Pair it with Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Wings.
