“Yummy summer salad, that’s a bona fide Toronto classic. Perfect meal for a lazy summer Sunday with BBQ in the backyard.”

  • Peel cucumber and remove watermelon flesh from rind.
  • Cut watermelon and cucumber into bite sized cubes.
  • Slice the strawberries.
  • Chop the mint and basil (keep a few mint leaves for garnish).
  • Cut the feta into 1/2″ cubes with a sharp knife.
  • Toss the cucumber, watermelon, strawberries, feta, mint, and basicl in a bowl.
  • Squeeze lime juice on top.
  • optional – toast walnuts and toss in just before serving.
  • Garnish with a few whole mint leaves.
