
Veganism doesn´t mean, healthy. There are many vegans out there who are living super unhealthy. Today everything is possible, there is a vegan option available for everything. So no matter how you call yourself, it doesn´t mean you are healthy. In my opinion it´s much more important to focus on the nutrients we put into our body rather than on any label (veganism, raw veganism, paleo, high carb low carb, high fat…). Just watch the video to learn my thoughts on this.
And here is the super delicious red cabbage salad recipe:
For the salad:
1/2 a head red cabbage (finely chopped, I actually used the pulse button on my vitamix, to chop the cabbage)
1/2 a head celery stalks
1 bunch parsley
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup cashews
For the dressing:
1/2 cup cashews
1 small zucchini
1/2 bunch basil
juice of 1 lemon
3 tbsp. apple cidre vinegar
2 tbsp. nutritional yeast
1 tbsp. coconut aminos or gluten free soysauce
Preparation:
Finely chop all the salad ingredients and put them into a bowl. Mix all the dressing ingredients in a high speed blender and pour your dressing over your salad. Mix well and enjoy.
