This Grilled Shrimp Caesar Salad recipe is a light and delicious weeknight dinner that is quick and easy to throw on the table! Grilled lemon pepper shrimp is tossed with lend smoky sweet bites that compliments the tangy homemade caesar dressing.

🥘 Ingredients

Shrimp: choose large fresh shrimp, peel and deveined. 

Salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Olive oil

Lemons: you will need fresh lemon juice for the shrimp and the dressing.

Fresh garlic

Anchovy paste

Dijon mustard

Worcestershire sauce

Mayonnaise: you can use reduced fat or full fat mayo.

Parmesan cheese: buy the block of cheese, you can use freshly grated parmesan cheese or shaved parmesan cheese for this recipe

Romaine lettuce

Fresh lemon juice brightens the flavors in this delicious grilled shrimp caesar salad.

🔪 Instructions

For the grilled shrimp

  1. In a large bowl, toss shrimp with salt, pepper and olive oil.  Grill 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp is pink.  Remove shrimp from grill and in another bowl, toss with lemon juice.

For the caesar salad dressing

  1. Place sing the back of a spoon, mash the garlic and salt together to make a paste. Add the anchovy paste, dijon mustard, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk in mayonnaise until blended then stir in Parmesan Cheese. Add pepper to your own taste.

🥫Storage

Refrigerate: store leftover components in separate airtight container up to 4 days.

Freeze: not recommended

Reheat: gently reheat shrimp in microwave 10-20 seconds, until warmed through (if desired)

  • For added flavor toss shrimp with ½ teaspoon old bay seasoning.
  • Substitute your favorite seafood or firm white fish for the shimp.

Instructions 

For the grilled shrimp

  • In a large bowl, toss shrimp with salt, pepper and olive oil.  Grill 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp is pink. 

  • Remove shrimp from grill and in another bowl, toss with lemon juice. Set aside.

For the caesar salad dressing
