It is time to add a new option to your salad recipes, one that is fresh and healthy. Today’s vegan recipe is:
Rice Salad!! Delicious.
This vegan salad is made of brown rice which contains more fiber, therefore, it contains more protein, vitamins and minerals than white rice. In addition, it helps to improve digestion and gives us energy.
Ingredients: (Add the amounts you prefer)
– 2.5 cups Brown Rice (cooked)
– Sesame seeds (Black or Toasted)
– Carrots – shredded
– Tomato – chopped
– Onion – chopped
– Mango – chopped
– Coriander
– Lime juice
– Soy sauce
Directions:
– Cook Brown rice according to package instructions. Let it cool.
– Mix Rice and vegetables in a bowl.
– Add Lime juice and Soy sauce to taste. Mix ingredients.
– Serve salad on toasted bread, with tortilla chips, or as a side of main dish.
